Senior Athlete Nick Rinella gets first offer

LaSalle College senior Nick Rinella is one of those players that you have to throw out statistics when determining his overall value to his team. Rinella, the ultimate all-around player, has made an impact at LaSalle as a running back, wide receiver, and cornerback.

Rinella made the game-winning touchdown catch in the 2015 Philadelphia Catholic League Class AAAA Championship Game. Even though he's been a major contributor to one of the most-respected programs in Pennsylvania over the last two years, he still hadn't received any scholarship offers to play football at the collegiate level. All of that changed today.

Via his twitter account, Rinella announced that he had received his first offer from Saint Francis:

When asked what position that he was being recruited for, Rinella replied, "They want me as a safety."
