PA High School Football Recruiting: Update 1-14-16

With the 2016 National Signing Day for high school football only a few weeks away (February 3rd), there will be hundreds of football players in Pennsylvania taking official visits to schools or in some cases, having coaches come to their homes to woo them to come to their school. PA PREPS takes a quick look at some of the action that's gone on in the past few days.


Earlier this evening, Imhotep Charter's Johncarlo Valentin, a senior offensive lineman, announced his commitment to Oklahoma via his twitter account.

Archbishop Wood's Anthony Russo, a senior quarterback, took in a home visit from Temple Head Coach Matt Rhule earlier today. Russo recently de-committed from Rutgers. Russo is also scheduled to take an official visit to LSU.


Pitt commit Brandon Ford (Upper St. Clair) received a visit from the head coach of the Panthers, Pat Narduzzi, earlier this evening. The senior offensive lineman has been committed to Pitt for quite some time now.


LaSalle College athlete Nick Rinella received his second offer today from Wagner University. Rinella also has an offer from Saint Francis on the table.



Several players this week received offers from Lock Haven. They are:

Winston Eubanks - LaSalle College

Jeray Anderson - Harrisburg

Ben Moser - Susquehanna Township
