Durant picks up Temple and Arizona State offers

Standing at 6'6", 347 pounds, Imhotep's Yasir Durant had patiently been waiting for his first offer to come to him. Yesterday, Durant's patience paid off big-time as the junior offensive lineman collected his first two offers from college on two different sides of the United States. Durant received offers from Temple and Arizona State.

On Arizona State: "From talking to the coaching staff, they (ASU coaching staff) liked my size and length. They also liked the way I got after it on my highlight film. They also saw me workout in person, so that was a real plus."

On Temple: "They (Temple coaching staff) have wanted to offer me for a while now. I think they just wanted to see how good my work ethic was."

Durant is set to visit Temple later on this week.
