Could 3-star FL CB Quran Hafiz be closing in on PSU and Pitt offers?

One of Florida's rising juniors will be taking a trip to Pennsylvania next weekend to visit Penn State and Pittsburgh. Quran Hafiz, a 6'0", 178 pound cornerback from Sandalwood High School (FL), already has received interest from schools outside of the Southeastern region of the country.

Hafiz will attend Junior Days at both schools. Hafiz will be at Penn State on February 27th and will be at Pitt on February 28th.

Hafiz talked about what both schools like about him as a player. "Both schools love my film," said Hafiz. Penn State coaches feel like I can be a lockdown cornerback for them. They feel as though they can just leave me on an island and win 1v1 battles. Pitt coaches think that I have great size and that I'm very athletic and physical."

Whether or not Penn State and or Pitt pulls the trigger on an offer remains to be seen.

"They (Pitt and Penn State) both feel that I can make an impact."
