Another night of upsets as McDevitt loses

Bishop McDevitt standout Jameel Poteat will have to wait one more year to try to win a state title.
The No. 26 - and top-ranked team in Pennsylvania - Crusaders were knocked off Saturday night in a double-overtime thriller, 34-27, at the hands of Cumberland Valley (12-2).

Bishop McDevitt finishes its season at 12-1.
In the other Class AAAA quarterfinal, LaSalle (13-1) topped Easton (11-2), 17-14.
Cumberland Valley will meet No. 83 State College (11-2) next weekend in one state semifinal, while LaSalle will face District 1 champion Ridley (13-1) in the other.
