All-State Camp Rewind: Top 5 RB Performers

Here are the top five performers at the running back position from the All-State Football camp that took place on March 8, 2015. These players were selected by the camp staff.

Chris Wells - Imhotep Charter - 5'10", 175 2018

It was literally a toss-up between Wells and Camp Hill's Bill Williams, but Wells was given the edge on this day. Wells is currently at Imhotep and has yet to play a down for them (Wells transferred from Archbishop Wood), but he displayed his speed, quickness, and ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. Wells was voted MVP of the camp by the coaching staff.

Bill Williams - Camp Hill -5'5", 170 - 2017 - Williams has an incredible first-step and blew by linebackers during the passing 1v1 segment. There's no question that if he were a little bit taller, he'd have a couple of offers already given his skill set.

During the camp, he was able to showcase his pass-catching abilities as well and proved to be a tough cover for most of the day.

Click Here to view this Link.Quadir StrothersClick Here to view this Link. - Prep Charter - 5'5", 160-2016 - Strothers is in the same boat as Williams (see size), but man does he have wheels. A scat-back type, Strothers had no problem getting open all day. He gets into his second-gear quickly

Click Here to view this Link.Martezes ClarkClick Here to view this Link. - Loyalsock - 5'11", 195- 2017- Clark was probably the best all-around back at the camp when you talk about size, speed, and quickness. Like the others on this list, Clark was hard to cover during the passing 1v1 segment. He has quick feet and showed his speed on several occasions through the camp. He's a sleeper.........for now.
