2017 DE Luke Frederick lands his first offer from Army
PAPREPS.COM talked about some of the prospects on Bishop Guilfoyle's (PA) football team a little less than a week ago. One of those player's mentioned was junior defensive end Luke Frederick. The 6'5", 220 pound defensive end, has been a major contributor to Bishop Guilfoyle's back-to-back state championship runs at the Single-A level. Earlier today, Frederick announced that he received his first offer from Army:
"The coaches (at Army) like my frame and athleticism," said Frederick when asked about what Army likes about him as a player. Frederick is also getting a lot of interest from other FBS schools, including in-state rivals Penn State and Pittsburgh. Frederick has also received interest from an SEC school.
"Tennessee really wants me to come for a visit, so I plan on doing that," said Frederick.
Fredrick also received an offer from St. Francis (FCS) today and is also getting a lot of attention from other FCS schools as well.
