When news broke on Friday afternoon that four-star linebacker Camren Williams had switched his commitment from Penn State and Ohio State, naturally the interest then turned to the status of teammate and best friend Armani Reeves. The 5-foot-9, 185-pound cornerback prospect out of West Roxbury (Mass.) Catholic Memorial was in Columbus this week with Williams as Reeves made his official visit to Ohio State. While many have assumed this is a package deal, Reeves has not changed his status as a Penn State verbal pledge as of Friday evening.

Instead, Reeves will host two Big Ten powers for in-home visits in the next few days before heading to State College next weekend for his official visit to Penn State, according to Reeves' godfather Brent Williams.

"On Armani, he has an in-home with Michigan tomorrow (Saturday)," Williams told BuckeyeGrove.com via text. "Urban Meyer (is coming for an in-home visit) on Tuesday and then Penn State next week also."

Reeves is rated a four-star prospect by Rivals.com, the No 2. player in the state of Massachusetts, and the No. 219 overall prospect in the nation.

Stay tuned to BuckeyeGrove.com as we will have more on Reeves as this situation continues to develop.
