Buford talks about his decision

The Iowa Hawkeyes added a new commitment to their recruiting class today in Michigan cornerback Kevin Buford. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound Buford was previously committed to Toledo, but accepted an offer from the Iowa coaching staff on the spot this morning at the end of his official visit. Buford talks about his decision and much more in this update.

Q: Did you make a new commitment today?

BUFORD: Yes, I did. I committed to Iowa.

Q: What did you like about your visit over the weekend?

BUFORD: I liked everything, just the whole atmosphere, the coaches, the players, and just the city itself. I was just overwhelmed with how great the coaching staff was. They weren't all happy go lucky, they were real with me, and I liked that. I got to see them at practice and see how they run things there. Off the field, I got to hang out with the players and really connected with them. It was just a nice experience and my family liked it a lot too.
