WVU opens summer camp

The West Virginia coaching staff welcomed around 75 prospects to Mountaineer Field for the first camp of the summer.

The camp, which was open to prospects 9th-12th grades, allowed high schoolers the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of the coaching staff while also receiving some direct instruction.

Headlining the first day was Texas quarterback and Mountaineer commitment Ford Childress. Childress looked sharp in drills and lead the quarterbacks, showing both poise and accuracy.
