PaPreps.com - Gateway top seed in WPIAL playoffs

There were a few minor surprises, but no big shakeups as the 2009 WPIAL playoff brackets were announced Monday night at the annual pairings meeting at the Embassy Suites in Moon Township.

All of the games listed below will be played at the higher seed at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

PaPreps will provide complete analysis of each of the brackets this week, starting with the Class A bracket on Wednesday morning.

CLASS AAAA

The top four seeds are Gateway, Woodland Hills, Bethel Park, and North Allegheny.
