Jeremy Clark will join 2012 class
When he committed to Michigan in June, Madisonville (Ky.) North Hopkins defensive back Jeremy Clark was expecting to greyshirt and become a member of the Wolverines' 2013 recruiting class. That's not a prospect he was thrilled about, but he loved his summer visit so much, he was willing to accept the offer.
North Hopkins coach Will Weaver let The Wolverine know that Clark will no longer have to worry about his status as a greyshirt. Instead, he will be able to immediately join Michigan's class of 2012.
While he was willing to accept a greyshirt commitment, that certainly wasn't Clark's preference. Michigan's coaching staff promised that they would try to change his status, and they came through for Clark.
Clark has been putting up impressive numbers this fall. He has two interception return touchdowns and two punt return touchdowns, to go along with 40 tackles and 9 passes broken up. The 6-4, 205-pound safety will join the Wolverines' team this summer.
